I had a really hot time in Africa. Temps were over 100 deg the entire time. Thankfully we worked during the nights. made some good friends and squeezed in some tattoos. the tattoos i did were on a weapons bench that we would “clean off” before and after every tat. all of the work took place late, late at night. it was a great experience to be able to tattoo in a deployed setting. it was profound not only for myself but for all involved. Ill just post some of the photos i took. all meaningful stuff. the sailor jerry was the last i did. done the night before i left to be with my father. i think ol’ Norman Collins would have deeply appreciated the circumstances and company involved.
